Visiting a salon to get hair treatments is a top choice for many people who want to fix a certain hair problem or simply keep their strands healthy. These chemical hair treatments are generally seen as a quick fix to common hair problems caused by everyday stress. The truth is, natural hair products yield better results. Also, using homemade natural hair products will help you save some cash.

It is easy and simple to prepare homemade hair treatments. Hair treatments like hair masks, hot oil treatments, and hair growth treatments can be made in a jiffy, with just a few items from your kitchen.

And one of the best-known ingredients for DIY hair treatments are bananas.

So, why are bananas good for your hair?

Bananas are rich in potassium, natural oils, and vitamins. Homemade banana hair masks are proven to help repair frizzy hair, prevent hair breakage, and restore hair moisture. It can also be mixed with other natural ingredients (e.g. avocado and banana hair mask) or combined with coconut milk to produce your very own homemade banana deep conditioner.
