Below are 5 DIY hair mask recipes using avocado as the primary ingredient. They are easy to make and safe to use as all the components are natural and can be bought from any supermarket. Each avocado hair mask recipe will last up to 3 months if refrigerated.

1. Avocado with Coconut Milk Hair Growth Booster

This DIY hair growth mask also prevents hair fall. Avocado contains iron, biotin, and vitamins D that boost hair growth. Coconut milk keeps the hair healthy and strong. Almond oil provides hair glossiness.

 

Ingredients:

Ripe avocado -- 1 whole fruit (medium)

Coconut milk -- 2 cups

Almond oil -- 2 tbsps.

 

Procedures:

1. Blend avocado and coconut milk in a blender until the mixture turns to smooth paste.

2. Add the almond oil. Mix well.

3. Apply the mask to hair, cover with shower cap and leave it for 30 minutes.

Coconut oil -- 2 tbsps.

Honey -- 3 tbsps.

Lemon juice -- 2 tbsps.

1. Blend avocado flesh in a blender until it turns into smooth paste.

2. In a bowl, mix thoroughly the honey, coconut oil, Aloe Vera juice and lemon juice.

3. Add the honey mixture to avocado paste. Mix well.

3. Apply the DIY hair mask to hair and leave it for 10 minutes.

5. Application can be repeated two or three times a month.

 

5. Avocado and Egg Yolk for Frizzy Hair

Ripe Avocado -- 1 whole fruit (medium)

Egg yolk -- 1

1. Blend all the ingredients until they become smooth paste.

2. Apply it to the hair and let it stand for 25 minutes.

3. Rinse thoroughly. Blow dry if desired.
